Withdrawals

African Palace Poker offers our players a variety of withdrawal options, including Internet Bank Transfers, Cheque Withdrawals and Moneybookers. Withdrawal times may vary according to the type of withdrawal method but that standard processing time is between 2-3 days for Internet Bank Transfers and 7-10 days for Cheques. Your withdrawal status can be monitored by accessing the Transaction History screen in the Cashier function.

Currency Conversion

This is a feature for those players whose currency is different from the base currency of the Poker network. The Currency Conversion allows these players to buy Poker chips and register for tournaments without the hassle of having to convert their currency manually. The exchange is performed automatically every time a player buys Poker chips at a table or in a tournament. An exchange also occurs every time a player leaves a table or wins.

African Palace Poker offers the best exchange rate possible, with no difference between the buy and sell prices. We fix a player’s currency rate at the moment that he or she purchases their chips and in this way, we ensure that the player will not charged any additional fee or be out of pocket when changing his money back to his preferred currency. The exchange rate for chip purchases and buy backs is fixed at the table from the moment the first chips are purchased. The exchange rate for tournaments re-buys, add-ons and wins is fixed for the player for every specific tournament from the moment of registration to the moment he or she leaves the tournament.

All of your winnings will be paid in ZAR to your African Palace Poker account. At the time of processing your payment, your winnings will be credited based on the day’s exchange rate. For consistency within African Palace Poker’s advertising and marketing, all jackpots and tournament pots are calculated at a rate of R7 to US$1. In the event that the current rate of the Rand / US Dollar exchange is higher than the minimum rate used for advertising purposes, the actual exchange rate would be applied.
